Business Data Challengers & Qualogy win Schiphol Netherlands tender
Abcoude January 31, 2019 – IT service providers Business Data Challengers (BDC) from Abcoude & Qualogy from Rijswijk will be responsible for the further development and management of the data warehouses and Oracle BI environment (OBIEE) of Schiphol Netherlands from February 1.
By awarding the public tender for a period of at least three years, Qualogy and BDC will manage, improve and further develop the airport's data warehouses and OBIEE environment. Innovation plays an important role in this. Schiphol is increasingly a data-driven organization and has large amounts of (raw) data at its disposal. Qualogy and BDC develop advanced applications that extract predictive behavior from the available data that Schiphol can anticipate.
Data-driven technologies Using advanced data-driven technologies, smart assets & buildings provide an excellent customer experience and airport performance. With this, Qualogy and BDC want to make a tangible contribution to Schiphol's ambition to be the preferred airport in Europe. Some key points within the new collaboration are the further development of data governance and advanced analytics. In the daily operations, Qualogy and BDC will be part of Schiphol's Data & Analytics Center of Excellence.
Content quality and innovation
Several IT service providers registered for the tender. The airport looked at various criteria during the award process. Qualogy and BDC won the tender by, among other things, scoring excellently on content, quality, innovation and price.
